Hello, my dearest Adventurers!
Welcome to the third week of our softening month! We began this journey by defining what it truly means to soften: resting in your power while still protecting the supple, sacred parts of yourself. From there, we moved into Vibrational Literacy, learning to read the signs and synchronicities of the Divine by using those soft parts to navigate the legitimacy of every message.
Now, we are talking about Exclusivity as Medicine. Exclusivity isn’t just for the elite, the members of a secret club, or those in a romantic relationship. True exclusivity is about choosing exactly who and what you allow into your inner sanctum. It is a fundamental part of setting boundaries—and if you know this blog at all, you know we love boundaries around here.
Being exclusive is how we separate ourselves from the "Static"—those distractions that deter us from our present moment, our goals, our momentum, and our most cherished relationships. This isn't about being shut off or cold; it’s about self-preservation. It’s about deciding to be absolutely infatuated with your own passions, your own drive, and your own ambitions.
Why not give all that you have to yourself first, so that you can show up more fully for others? You cannot meet anyone deeper than you have met yourself. It is simply not possible. When you decide to enact your sovereign power and uphold your boundaries, you deepen the intimacy you have with your own soul. It is an act of profound self-love that nothing—and no one—else can match.
So grab your favorite beverage, find a comfy chair, and get your notes ready. We are diving into a level of intimacy that will leave you completely "taken" by yourself.
The Static and the Sanctuary
When we think about exclusivity, our minds often jump to VIP lounges, the 1%, celebrities, or guarded secrets. But what does it mean for you to be exclusive? It means becoming naturally unavailable to the "Static." It means refusing to be accessible to the things that irritate, disrupt, or stall your growth.
This is the core of the message: do not put up with things that disrupt your soul. Instead, only grant entry to the things that feed and support your journey. We must reach a point where we only tolerate what expands our minds and nurtures our spirits. Anxiety, pain, contraction, and anything that forces you to shrink simply has no room in your kingdom. This is the true function of a boundary: to protect your peace at all times, without apology.
The Algorithm of Focus
When you hold your frequency high by focusing on what fulfills you, the "riff-raff" and detrimental experiences naturally lose their grip. They no longer fit the criteria of your guest list. As I mentioned before, your Reticular Activating System (RAS) acts as your internal search engine. Whatever you believe and put energy into becomes your reality.
It is a tough lesson to learn that your mind often shows you exactly what you wish to avoid—simply because you are so focused on "not focusing" on it. I am constantly auditing my own focus. The other night, while I was out DoorDashing, I was hit with a barrage of songs about money—specifically, songs about how easily it flows and how happy that relationship can be. It felt like every other song was shouting the same message.
It hit me hard. I realized I had been slipping back into limiting beliefs, focusing on the "grind" rather than the ease. DoorDash isn’t my end-all-be-all; it isn’t in my long-term goals. I had to ask myself: What am I truly excellent at? What fulfills me 100,000 times more than this? When you change the search query from "How do I survive?" to "How do I thrive with ease?", the universe starts returning different results.
The Lobster Lesson: Becoming a Luxury
The truth is that luxury isn’t luxury if it’s accessible to everyone. Look at the history of lobster on the East Coast; in colonial America, they were so common they were served to prisoners. The wealthy wouldn't touch them. It was only when they became a "hot commodity"—rare, valued, and harder to find—that they transformed into a luxury item.
It isn't about the "price tag"; it’s about the rarity. When you decide to become a "luxury," you become Taken. You become exclusive and no longer available to the mass majority. This is what it means to be infatuated with yourself—to hold yourself apart and only allow high-vibrational energy into your space. This is what it truly means to put yourself on the pedestal you deserve.
The Gatekeeper: Curating Your Inner Sanctum
You are the guard, the groundskeeper, the protector, and the ultimate authority on how you function in your life. Setting boundaries, speaking your mind, and choosing who you keep in your orbit is entirely your choice. But how do you begin that process? How do you decide what is actually "good" for you? How do you protect your "Soft Era"?
You look at how a thing makes you feel. Does it support you? How does it show up in your life, and more importantly, how do you feel after you’ve interacted with it? To do this, you must remain in constant communication with yourself. Self-intimacy is the one requirement that is never going away. You must be willing to learn yourself inside and out—every preference, every trigger, and every way you function. If you aren't willing to meet yourself on that level, you will never be able to meet anyone else there. We are the prototypes for all our outside interactions. We interact with ourselves first; we must be aware of our inner workings so that we can grow through the unique lessons each new day brings.
The Feast vs. The Scraps (The Scarcity Rescue)
To be the "Feast" in a world of scraps is to refuse to be ravaged by everyone you come into contact with. We often fall into the trap of the Scarcity Rescue—letting people or opportunities in because we are afraid nothing else is coming. But when you allow everyone to take a seat at your table and partake in your offerings, you get used up. You get wrung out until there is nothing left for you—or for the ones who actually belong there.
You cannot give what you do not have. If you give your energy to every passing distraction, you won't have anything left to share with the people and manifestations you actually desire. Once the "riff-raff" has ravaged the feast, you are the one left with the empty bottles, the scraps, and the mess to clean up. Real luxury—real Sovereignty—is realizing that the feast is only for those on the Guest List.
The Scarcity Rescue: Escaping the Fool’s Gold
When our egos get a "big head" and start dictating what we can and cannot do, we slip into a scarcity mindset. This interferes with our ability to think clearly. Questions like, “When will I get this opportunity again?” or “What if this is my only shot?” begin to cloud our judgment and cause us to act out of fear.
The ego wants you to remain small and fearful because it associates "familiar" with "safe." It’s just doing its job—and if you’re feeling anxious, it’s doing its job well. This served us as primal beings, but in modern society, if we ever want to be more, we must actively work with our egos to shift our mindset. When it pushes you toward fear, push back with “Why?” Each time you ask, you poke holes in its irrational reasoning until the fear collapses.
When we reject offers that are merely “good enough,” we allow the Divine to show us what we truly deserve. Giving into scarcity is how we end up with Pyrite—Fool’s Gold. It looks brilliant on the outside, but underneath, it’s fake. We want to avoid the imitation. Only the most fulfilling, high-vibrational things should be allowed into our inner sanctum. When you are soft, you are secure enough in your own power to turn down a gold-plated cage because you know you have the keys to the kingdom. Why settle for a cage when you can have the land, the wealth, the title, and the love?
The Taken Decree: Infatuated with the Self
When we are "Taken," we are truly taken—enchanted, supported, and loved—by ourselves. This isn't about another person. You don’t need to think about being taken by someone else until you have fully claimed yourself.
You do not owe anyone an explanation they aren’t privileged to hear. When you gatekeep your energy, you are protecting yourself from the forces that would rob you of your true desires. As you soften into your manifestations, you must keep a lock on the door. It should only be opened by those with the proper clearance or the right key.
Everyone does not need access to all of you; that is a level of accessibility we simply cannot facilitate. If the feast is ravaged before the actual guests arrive, there will be nothing left for them—or for you. Take control of your gates. Decide for yourself who is worthy of your soft, squishy self.
Conclusion: The Strength of the Soft
Softness—and the sovereign boundaries we use to protect it—is the standard we should all be striving for. To remain at peace and in your own power without operating from a place of scarcity, fear, or lack is the true work of a lifetime.
Never mistake softening for weakness. It is the ultimate expression of strength and the deepest conviction you can add to your life. Each decision to remain in your power is a decision to remain in your "Soft Era." Conversely, each time you buckle and give in to the demands or desires of others at your own expense, you allow them to interfere with your feast. Rise above the urge to people-please. Stand up for yourself, hold your gates, and honor the guest list you’ve worked so hard to curate.
Weekly Prompt: Where are you sacrificing your "Medicine" to keep someone else comfortable?
